“I know no aging advocacy group more effective than Aging with Dignity. Their work is rooted in the God-given dignity of each person and love for the elderly and their families."
Arthur Brooks, bestselling author“I helped a patient fill out Five Wishes in the ICU and it was a great experience that left him in tears and on the phone with a brother he hadn’t talked to recently. Amazing!”

General contributions go toward our areas of greatest need. These typically cover major capital costs like new IT platforms (our fivewishes.org site just overhauled its online store for a much better user experience) and travel for events or investigative video production. Donations for Five Wishes or Assisted Suicide Watch fund those programs. Aging with Dignity has never taken a penny of government funding and we have never changed the price of Five Wishes in nearly 30 years of operation. Your contributions have made us America’s favorite advance care planning organization and one of its leading advocacy organizations.
No. We are a non-religiously affiliated 501C3.We are faith-inspired due to Mother Teresa of Calcutta’s impact on our Founder, Jim Towey. She, herself, encouraged Jim to found Aging with Dignity.
