People with disabilities are second class citizens in our nation’s capital and in 13 states because assisted suicide laws try to push them towards a premature death.

The public has gotten a one-sided portrayal of these dangerous laws for years. It’s time that they see them for what they really are, so we can instead have conversations about what GOOD policy should look like for the aging, vulnerable, and people with disabilities.
